FULL CONTACT COLLETS

These collets are designed to grip on their entire surface, not just the front and back as double tapered collets do. These units are used in high volume production because they last longer and hold a tighter tolerance. The travel is longer than conventional double taper collet improving life and reducing cost per part produced. The full contact collet is a much more cost effective unit than grease arbors because you only have to replace the collet when it is worn out, not the entire arbor.
