PART SIZE CAPACITY:
Part size limits are described in terms of the largest rectangular solid (sides A, B & C) which can be index 360 degrees within chuck body. Parts included within the envelope described can be indexed.
A reasonable allowance for top tooling and part clearance has been made.

|
- Available in ten standard sizes from 8” to 34”
- Completely machine any part with two or more axis
- Machine parts at one chucking
Power Operated Automatic Indexing Chucks
- Four (4) indexing positions at 90 degrees.
- Index accuracy to .0004 per inch of radius.
- Pressure trapping check valve system on clamp spindle hydraulics
- Adjustable centerline location.
- Balance weight mounting
- Holds wide range of similar parts.
- Available with index spindle sensing system for CNC interface.
- Equally effective in both long and short productions runs.
- Extra heavy-duty construction assures long and trouble free operation
Options
- Two (2) 3 degrees to 6 degrees offset positions at 180 degrees for machining of the gate valves in 24 degrees and larger units
- Index accuracy of .0002” per inch of radius.
| CAPACITY CHART | |
| Chuck Size | Capacity Limits |
| A | B | C |
| 12" | 3.25 | 6.50 | 6.50 |
| 15" | 5.00 | 8.00 | 8.00 |
| 18" | 6.50 | 9.00 | 9.00 |
| 21" | 9.00 | 10.50 | 10.50 |
| 24" | 8.00 | 12.00 | 12.00 |
| 28" | 11.50 | 15.00 | 15.00 |
Capacity limit dimensions A, B and C are interrelated and can be varied as follows:
- "B" and "C" can be increased if "A" is decreased
- "A" can be increased if "B" and "C" are decreased.
- All limits can be increased if corners are removed.
